These drawings are called isometric drawings. These drawings are a lot more complicated than the SV drawings. We had to get into a 3-D mindset to envision the parts of the drawing that we couldn't see.
The bottom view of these Iso Drawings were difficult to draw. We had to envision what the drawing looks like from the bottom and copy and paste as many lines as we could.
These Isos are great examples of more difficult work we were doing in class. We started to incorporate slanted lines into the drawings. This made the bottom views more complicated. Personally, I struggled with the bottom views and it took me several classes to complete them. In the long run, drawing these Isos helped me when drawing and creating in 3-D.
This was the Iso we had to complete for the Midyear assessment. We had only one hour to complete it, and no help from peers or Mr. Kalif. This drawing isn't perfect but it shows what I am able to accomplish in a short amount of time. This Midyear drawing counted for 10% of our final grade.
